Spending Tax Refunds Smartly
With the 2011 income tax filing deadline behind us, many people are looking forward to a refund. According to a TD Ameritrade survey, 50 percent of Americans anticipate a refund of either federal or state income taxes. Before the money even arrives, they begin planning how to spend it. Many people are avoiding the urge to splurge, instead planning to spend the money wisely.
Of the survey respondents expecting a refund, 63 percent plan to invest or save at least a portion. Paying down debt will be the goal of 51 percent and 48 percent will apply the money toward household expenses like utility bills or food costs. Only 14 percent have some splurging on their mind, planning to spend the money on a new mobile phone or a vacation.
Rather than viewing the refund as a windfall, consumers should use it to meet their short, medium, and long-range financial goals. Creating an emergency fund that covers living expenses for six to nine months, saving for higher education of a child, and making home repairs are several wise uses. People with credit card debt should repay the highest-interest balances first.
Some people are choosing to invest the money in themselves by starting a legitimate home business with great opportunities for profit. This allows them to experience more freedom and balance their work and personal obligations. They plan to use their knowledge to earn money, eventually bringing others on board to share the income.
A tax refund is not free money, it is a return of money previously paid to the government. From this perspective, it makes sense to spend the money wisely. Getting out of debt, saving for long-term or unexpected expenses, reinvesting money in the home, and starting a business are several ways to put a tax refund to good use.

When Preparing A Business Plan, Find Your Niche
Identifying a target market and why this group is interested in what your business offers are initial steps in the business planning process. The market you serve should be the most-aligned with your service or product. Prospects and customers should understand how dealing with your company benefits them and these benefits should meet their needs. These aspects make it easier to build a niche that makes the business plan unique.
Clarifying what your business offers helps customers and yourself. You sell a product or service, but what else? Environment, value, and a brand experience all come into play. For example, restaurants sell food but each type targets a different customer base or need. A fast food restaurant provides basics to busy customers, while an Italian restaurant offers homemade regional cuisine in a themed environment.
Discover what makes your business different from the rest. Promote these differences and the associated benefits. Keep the focus narrow, offering specialized products or services to a specific group of people. Trying to be a jack of all trades often results in you being a master of none and for a small business, this is a death sentence.
A small business should have a niche, identified through market knowledge or prospect surveys. Entrepreneurs should identify the areas well-served by the competition, areas that competitors are ignoring, and potential opportunities. By creating a niche, a small business owner contributes to success of the venture.
Whether they are interested in a work at home business or having a physical location, entrepreneurs should spend time planning the endeavor. Clarifying what the business offers, identifying the correct target market, and creating a niche are essential components of the business planning process. Doing this homework helps the company distinguish itself from the competition, capturing the attention of prospects and encouraging repeat business.

The Tie Between Jeff Usner And Dani Johnson
Secret Millionaire star Dani Johnson has been very successful with home-based businesses. She now teaches others how to experience this level of success. One of her students has become a teacher in his own right. Jeff Usner, Internet marketing millionaire, even collaborated with Dani’s husband Hans Johnson to teach the strategies they used to develop their successful businesses.
Jeff is founder of Leadstore, Profit Hub, and several other companies that have become very successful. Hans made his own millions with home businesses and is CEO of the successful Call To Freedom International. In 2010, Jeff and Hans offered their expertise to the public during a one-time only two-day Internet Millionaire Bootcamp that was extremely popular.
During the workshop, Jeff revealed his complete business model, spilling the secret methods he uses to drive massive traffic and generate an average of 50,000 leads monthly. The idea behind this move was that if attendees could replicate a mere ten percent of the results, they could skyrocket their incomes and experience previously unimagined business growth. Nothing was held back, providing attendees with a blueprint for lead generation.
Hans complemented Jeff by focusing on the fundamental marketing and business development strategies involved in transitioning a business from the concept stage to million dollar company. He broke down the many business models that exist and explained each step in the process, from how to select a profitable market or come up with a great idea, to how to set up a website without any technical knowledge.
Each man has gone on to experience even more career success. Hans is currently devoting much of his time to Dani’s multiple businesses. Jeff is writing a book and developing new training for entrepreneurs. Called ProfitHub, this program will show anyone how to build a successful business online without having to spend big bucks.

If You Are Making Excuses, An Opportunity Exists
We have all made excuses about something and many of us probably do this more often than not. Making an excuse puts us into a defensive position…is that really where we want to be? Living defensively is not fun and it is no way to run our professional life. When we begin reframing excuses as negative responses to opportunities, we discover the chances we have to grow.
It is easy to say there is no time to improve relationships with family and friends. It is even relatively painless to declare that we cannot improve our career. However, is it smart to talk and act this way? Definitely not! We are cutting ourselves off from chances to become better. We get only one shot at life and there is no time for regrets because there is too much to achieve.
Whether excuses have kept you from earning a 6 figure income, becoming more spiritual, or strengthening ties with people in your social network, now is the time to change this. Start a home business, begin worshipping, spend time with friends and family. Take the action that you have wasted so much energy avoiding. The result could be amazing.
Excuses are nothing more than fear put into words. Do not give fear this credence. Catch yourself before an excuse comes out of your mouth. Do the opposite of what the excuse allowed you to do, which usually means taking action. Push aside insecurities and head into the career, emotional, and spiritual unknown.
After you achieve what you once made excuses not to do, you will wonder why you fussed so much. With an improved sense of self-confidence, you will be ready to tackle new and bigger challenges. Soon, excuses will become dirty words and you will be happier and more successful than you ever imagined was possible.
