Jeff Usner Returns To His Secret Millionaire Roots
Jeff Usner, Internet marketing expert, self-made millionaire,
and former Secret Millionaire star
recently returned to Habitat For Safe Seniors, an organization he worked with
during his time on the hit ABC television show. Jeff visited with the team
while volunteering some additional time. Habitat For Safe Seniors has made
progress and is holding a holiday food fair on December 21. Anyone who wants to
help is encouraged to reach out like Jeff has.
Habitat
For Safe Seniors is located in Canyon Lake, Texas. This organization provides
nutrition, services, home safety repairs, companionship, and environmental
improvements to Comal County residents who are 55 years old or older. Those who
are at 185 percent of the Texcap poverty guidelines are provided priority
attention. Donations and volunteer service are always appreciated but are
especially welcome during this time of year.
While
taping Secret Millionaire, Jeff
volunteered undercover with Habitat for Safe Seniors. His first task was
building a wheelchair ramp for a man experiencing difficulty getting in and out
of his home. This seemed like a small job compared to what came next: loading
groceries into 120 cars for delivery to income-restricted local seniors. When
the time came to reveal himself and present a sizable donation from his own
funds, fellow volunteers were shocked.
Jeff
reported that he felt most comfortable volunteering, not donating cash earned
through his Internet marketing businesses. Therefore, it is only natural that
he returned to Habitat For Safe Seniors earlier this fall to volunteer. He was
welcomed with open arms and quickly put to work. In just eight years, this
operation has tripled in size so help is always needed with programs or staffing
the thrift store, emergency pantry, or senior center.
A
food fair is the next big event on the calendar of Habitat For Safe Seniors. On
December 21, volunteers will be distributing food to more than 300 families. If
Jeff is available, he will surely stop by to lend a hand. Jeff is a pro at
distributing food, having done it during Secret
Millionaire and when he visited in November. Rhonda is so thankful that
someone helped fund their new warehouse and the group is now working to get
enough food and separate it into nutritional categories.
Rhonda
said that Secret Millionaire put this
organization on the map but donations are lacking. Many recipients also
volunteer their time by serving food or perform other services. Since they
cannot donate money, they donate their time and services, giving back in the
only way that they can. Rhonda and the other team members greatly appreciate
and have come to rely on this help.
The
December 21 food fair is a joint effort with the San Antonio Food Bank. Approximately
25,000 to 30,000 pounds of food will arrive via semi-truck to be distributed
throughout the county. Between 30 and 40 volunteers will be needed and will
work in shifts. Extra hands will not be turned away and donations are also
welcome so visit the Habitat For Safe Seniors website to do your part.

Get Your Home Business Noticed This Holiday Season
The holiday season represents a prime marketing opportunity
for a work at home business owner.
This is the time to maximize sales and end the year on a positive note. Whether
your business offers products or services, there is an audience waiting and as
the holidays near, these folks get more anxious. Put them at ease by making
your company easy to find. They will flock to make purchases, causing the
season to be merry and bright on both sides of the transaction.
Distinguishing your company from its competitors is always
important. This becomes critical during the holiday season when other sellers
are offering deals galore. Organize the company website into categories such as
gifts for men, women, or children or gifts within different price ranges.
Designate a prime spot for the hottest products or services of the season so
shoppers will find these immediately upon landing on the site. Promote
offerings through electronic newsletters, emails, and social media accounts.
By the time mid-December rolls around, many shoppers are
frustrated because they have no idea what to buy. Reduce their anxiety by
recommending gifts that your company offers. Suggest different products for
family members, friends, and professional acquaintances. Provide special offers
for products that must be moved out of inventory or services that have become
less popular. This can breathe new life into these offerings before 2012 ends.
Motivate shoppers to make purchases on the spot by having
one-day sales and imposing shipping deadlines. This information should be
repeated in emails and on each page of the website. As the shipping deadline
approaches, upgrade shipping services for faster delivery. For example, convert
five-day shipping for December 18 purchases to two or three day shipping
without imposing an extra fee. Last-minute shoppers will welcome the
flexibility and may make all of their purchases from you.
Take a cue from other companies and express urgency in
Tweets, Facebook postings, and email subject lines. Rather than the annoying,
“One Day Only!” or “Act Now!” messages, opt for “It isn’t too late,” or “You
still have time.” The second set of statements is reassuring, not filled with
pressure. Many consumers turn off when they feel under pressure so keep them
interested by showing sympathy for their situations. After all, who of us has
not faced a holiday shopping deadline at one time?
Despite your best efforts, some shoppers will wait until the
day before Hanukkah or December 23 or 24 to buy their gifts. Help them out by
offering downloadable electronic gift cards for your business. Shoppers can
purchase these online and print or email them to recipients, making the entire
process quick and easy.
The apex of the holiday shopping season will arrive on
Saturday, December 22. Plan special incentives for this day because it could
make or break holiday revenue. Free shipping, buy one get one free, or a free
gift with purchase has proven successful for many sellers. Build anticipation
with “mystery” emails, Tweets, and Facebook posts so customers will anxiously
await the date.

A Glimpse Of Lives Being Changed
Many
people claim to be subject-matter experts and some of them really do seem to
know their stuff. We hear stories of people who have built entrepreneurial
empires from scratch. We read their books and purchase their training programs
to learn their secrets and attempt to mirror their success. However, there is
always that nagging doubt in the back of our minds. Are they just peddling
fluff in order to make a buck? Will what they preach really help us transform
our lives?
One
successful entrepreneur that we are hearing more about lately is Dani Johnson.
She is a self-professed rags to riches story and her success just seems to
grow. But, will a Dani Johnson script book, training program, or event really work for us? Many people who have
used these tools will tell you yes. One of them just happens to work for Dani
now and she is sharing her story on the Dani Johnson website.
Mary
Howard began working with Dani as a client and attended the October 2010 First
Steps to Success event. She admits to being skeptical especially because she
was not a business person. What could she possibly get out of a business
seminar? How about a completely different (and much better) life? Mary says
that in two years, she went from lacking direction and drowning in debt to
working a dream job, repaying $18,000, and making more money than ever before.
Working
with Dani has changed Mary’s life and she has continued the relationship over
the years. Mary recently attended the Creating A Dynasty event in St. Louis and
says it was her most intense experience to-date. She attended this event as a
client, not as an employee of Dani’s. In her own words, she went “all in.” The
result was a powerful experience that revealed areas for improvement and skills
to be mastered.
You
know those “light bulb moments” we hear about, when a look of understanding
crosses a person’s face? Mary witnessed those first-hand at Creating A Dynasty.
She watched people “get it” while going through the program exercises. Mary says
it was amazing to hear this level of understanding and learn about plans that
others were making to implement new skills. But, even this paled in comparison
to what happened next.
On
Saturday afternoon of this event, Mary watched a team of businesspeople raise
nearly $115,000 for construction of an orphanage in Belize. How did they
achieve this feat? By selling cheesecake! Yes, they auctioned and raffled off
pieces of cheesecake made by Dani. Mary was overwhelmed by the experience of
people working together for a cause much bigger than themselves.
Mary
is proud to interact with people like this on a daily basis. She is amazed at
what individual efforts can do when combined in striving for a common goal. She
is blessed to be working for such an amazing mentor and she is humbled by the
stories of debt, personal struggle, and other hardships that she hears from
other Dani Johnson clients. With the right guidance, lives truly can be
changed.

Do Good For Others This Holiday Season And Beyond
Millionaire
entrepreneur Dani Johnson, actor Steven Baldwin, talk radio host Kevin
McCullough, and founder of Food for Orphans Gary Van Dyke are hard at work
helping to feed orphans this year. With assistance from the public, the goal of
feeding 2,012 orphans during 2012 has been exceeded, with 4,524 orphans fed as
of today. The year is not over and if you are not participating in this effort
(or even if you are), there is still time to do good for others.
Dani
and her special celebrity guests recently shared how anyone can turn this
holiday season into one of doing good. Many people are down on their luck this
year and 22 years ago, Dani was one of them. She was homeless and had less than
five dollars in her pocket, thanks to a husband who wiped out her bank account,
maxed out her credit cards, and moved to Japan with another woman. She was
$35,000 in debt and had no way to pay her living expenses.
Facing
the worst time of her life, Dani turned to an aunt who previously sent her
holiday gifts. Unfortunately, her aunt could not help due to experiencing tough
times of her own. Dani lived in her car and slept on the beach, avoiding the
police. Reaching out for help had proven disappointing but it also served as a
wake-up call. Dani took this as a sign to turn her life around and she
encourages us to help others do the same.
Imagine
being homeless and watching people scurry about doing holiday shopping and
buying clothing and food for holiday parties. Think about the feelings of anger
and confusion that are likely to arise. Consider how it feels to be broke,
homeless, and abandoned. Save money and live within your means to avoid getting
into this situation yourself. But, above all else, help others because this
makes things better for everyone.
Dani
believes that the reason no one would help her when she needed it is because
she did not have a “helps account.” This is basically an account that accrues
whenever you help someone else. Since Dani never took time to assist a homeless
person or someone else in need, her helps account had a zero balance. There was
nothing to draw from when she needed help.
We can
avoid a similar situation by helping others whenever possible. This may mean
giving pocket change to someone who is homeless and hungry or donating a used
coat to keep someone warm this winter. It may also take less extreme forms such
as mentoring a co-worker to excel so a much-needed raise soon follows.
Even if we do not earn a 6 figure income we should have enough money to spare for a good
cause like feeding orphans. If our own budgets are tight, we can donate our
time by helping out at a soup kitchen, homeless shelter, or building homes for
people with low incomes. There are many ways to do good and we should continue
them long after the holiday season has ended.

See Dani Johnson While Enjoying A Vacation In London
California,
Texas, and Missouri are places people typically travel to attend a Dani Johnson training event. But
London? Who would think that the former Secret
Millionaire would venture across the pond to share her proven approaches to
financial management and career enhancement? Well, it is true. Dani will be
jumping on a plane to present her First Steps to Success seminar in London,
England, on February 22 and 23. This is the perfect excuse to take that long-planned
UK vacation and change your life in the process.
Face
it, folks, life is not going to get easier any time soon. The economy is still
very unstable and many people who are lucky enough to have jobs are miserable.
They are working paycheck-to-paycheck and most of their income is going toward
repaying debts amassed during even leaner times. With go-nowhere jobs and no
raises in the near future, these folks are stressed and some are even
depressed. If this sounds too familiar, book a trip to London to hear what Dani
has to say.
First
Steps to Success is just what it sounds like…the first steps on the path to a
successful future. Dani knows what it takes to create an empire from scratch.
Whether your goals are as lofty as hers or a bit more modest, she has methods
that will help attain them. Reading her books and purchasing her prepackaged
training programs lay the foundation but participating in this live event kicks off the journey.
Those
who doubt the effectiveness of this event should watch the video testimonials
on Dani’s website. Listen to the stories because many are truly amazing. From
the tale of a nine-year old entrepreneur to couples who have shed enormous
debt, everyone seems to take away something from First Steps to Success. Become
one of the next to make life-altering changes and you may be an on-camera star!
What
exactly is First Steps? An experiential learning program is the best
description. Dani has become an authority in the areas of entrepreneurship and
life coaching and she shares the skills that have made her millions of dollars.
By following the step-by-step formula revealed
at this event, average people have transformed their lives.
The
changes are not small, they are radical, and the dramatic results are
experienced immediately. By implementing what they learn at First Steps, many
people generate income of six or seven figures in their own businesses or their
careers. First Steps is about bringing forth the true leader in all of us and
expanding our influence. By realizing our full potential now, we bring results
faster and build upon them to achieve more success than we imagined.
First
Steps is also about group success so take along a friend or co-worker. As a
team, you both will experience the positive benefits. After attending this
event, you will be plowing through previous roadblocks on the way to goal
achievement. Even the economy will not be an obstacle. Spend the time and money
to attend this event because it could be a life-changer.
