Coastal Travel Success Continues...

Coastal Travel, has been the simplest way to work from home and make legitimate income. It's 10:06 am and this is not a normal morning for me. I decided to spend some time with my wife this morning and then I wrestled around and played with my 5yr old daughter and 3yr old son. I'm just getting to work.

Now of course I normally get working sooner. But how many 30 year old dads get the choice on when they show up to work and when they can sleep in and spend quality time with their family. That freedom is something that I absolutely love about Coastal Travel. We've been doing it since July 27th 2005.

Recently we received an email from one of the our advertising partners we work with and in that email snapresponse shared some success stories that folks have had using their advertising. (We don't do our own marketing in Coastal Travel we use advertising companies for that)

Sue C. from CO made $4,200 off of 100 leads!

Selene L. from FL says, one of the first leads that came to me, has signed up with DFI! I have 2 others going through the system, and both were aged leads!

That's not bad, I wander how many people did not send an email in to say thanks! I've made a lot of money and not sure I've ever decided on my own to send an email in and say thanks to the advertising companies. Heck currently I'm not even using that particular company... I'm using our other advertising agency called Prime.

Between now and the end of the year my family will make between 15-25K if I had to guess. We definitely could do better, we will not do worse that's for sure. Not a bad income working part time. This is our only source of income!

Has this happened to you? You get a brand new person started in your Network Marketing business and they randomly start talking to people, make a few sales and sign some people up. They are excited because things are working and then they get unteachable. Now they want to change this, add to that, do their own pre-recorded message, develop a website and check into other trainers. Let me show you how to handle those "smart ones" who try to reinvent the wheel...

Many of your brightest new reps were initially attracted to your home-based business for two reasons, time freedom and low overhead. Then they decide to get overly creative and higher call centers to do outbound calls for recruiting. They then decide to put up booths in all these places to collect lots of phone numbers.

Listen folks, the wheel is not broken. It works. Your company has had a tremendous amount of success. You don't need to reinvent anything.

Here's the reality check, you have to look at your results. Here's what was spoken over me harshly 18 years ago. This millionaire told me that if he listened to my ideas, then he would go broke like I was. His ideas were worth a half million dollars a month and mine were worth nothing because I had no results to show. He said to me, "Quit trying to size yourself up with me. As soon as your stack of Ben Franklins is as big as mine, then you come talk to me."

What this man said was harsh but true. It was the best thing he could have said to me. I was so busy becoming overly creative; complicating things and the complication does not produce income. It's the very simplistic part of our business that makes us the most amount of money.

It is as simple as:

1. Making the initial contact

2. Bringing them through a business presentation

3. Following up and closing

4. On the job training and

5. Putting them through a leadership development system.

That's it!

So don't reinvent the wheel. What ever it takes to keep yourself recruiting at least 80% of the time is what you should be focused on. Coming up with new ideas, new systems, new programs, rearranging this, changing that...none of these things will make you more money. Can these things work? Yes, but there's a much greater chance that they won't.

There's already a success path that has been carved out. If all you do is focus on the success path of the 5 steps above, you will make an absolute fortune! Then you can decide if you want to change something. The first step is to master the existing path that has been carved out for you. It really is that simple!

Even the best MLM recruiters can have difficulty keeping people around and actively building their businesses. This article will show you the simple process to keep your reps motivated and producing results. You will now understand the most important first step to developing a healthy and growing team.


Before we get to that first step you must grasp the basic concept of working your business consistently. If you work your business consistently, it will grow consistently. When you cruise for a while and then stop to become the nurturer who tries to hatch your reps like a hen does, your retention level starts to go down. You will notice that more people become inactive or quit because you are not adding enough new people.


If you are working very part time like 5 hours per week, there is no reason why you should not be able to activate at least 3 new people every month. Just take it up from there. If you're working your business 10 hours per week, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to bring in at least 6 new reps a month.


To make sure that you are activating the new people properly you should be utilizing the involvement concept. This is a supernatural process for retention where the burden is easy and the way is light. This system helps you get new people doing something right away and then keeps them involved to the point where there is ownership in them.


This is not the time to download your new person Sue with a bunch of information because she will become an information idiot who is unmotivated. That information is not going to get Sue to go to work. It's just going to give her a lot to think about.


So what is important during the first 48 hours is to get new reps involved in the process. The involvement of Sue immediately going to work and making money is what keeps her from quitting. When She's making money, she can't afford to quit!

This is something else... the moral of the story is BIG... How do you attain both wealth and success at the same time?

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them.

She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat."

"Is the man of the house home?", they asked.

"No", she said. "He's out."

"Then we cannot come in", they replied.

In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened. "Go tell them I am home and invite them in!" The woman went out and invited the men in.

"We do not go into a House together," they replied. "Why is that?" she wanted to know. One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home."

The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How nice!!", he said. "Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!" His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?" Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love!" "Let us agree to our daughter-in-law's advice," said the husband to his wife. "Go out and invite Love to be our guest."

The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, "Which one of you is Love Please come in and be our guest." Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up and followed him.

Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: "I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?" The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or Success. The other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love. Wherever He goes, we go with him.

Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!!!!!!"
